I am Kirsten A. Everett a schoolgirl who has a passion for writing, reading and a very wild imagination (this means I see inspiration everywhere and spend ages writing ideas down in one of my many notebooks).
Did I mention I'm currently 16? Well, now you know.
I'm the author of Eclipse Child and Escaping Extinction. Last year I wrote two fanfictions about One Direction as well (Yes, I'm a crazy Directioner).
I wrote Eclipse Child and Escaping Extinction because I'm passionate about rhinos and really want to get involved in the fight to stop rhino poaching (which is why I used to blog for Nikela and it's why I am a Rhino SA Champion). As I am blessed with writing skills I thought that the best way I could help the rhinos would be to get the message out to the children of the world that Rhino poaching is bad and that we need to stop it. By writing my books I have used fiction to keep my readers interested whilst I also tell them the facts that are important to know about the rhino poaching situation.
My books are different to others as some of my charactesr are classified as a fictional species I made up and this species has special powers. I feel I
have taken a completely different approach to the rhino situation in order to
attract young readers and keep them reading.
